Planning A Trip To Langkawi

I saw a Groupon offer for a stay in Langkawi. Quite cheap though.

Travelling time: 7 hours 45 minutes

Departure from Kuala Lumpur: 5 am
Arrival in Kuala Perlis: 12 noon
Estimated Ferry Departure: 1 pm
Estimated Arrival in Langkawi: 1.45pm
Estimated Arrival at hotel: 2 pm (check-in time)


Estimated Return Petrol: MYR 200
Estimated Return Tolls: MYR 100
Car park at jetty fee: MYR 60 (15*4)

Ferry fee: MYR 72 (36*2)

Estimated total cost: MYR 432

Travelling time: 2 hours

Departure from Kuala Lumpur: 2 pm
Arrival in Langkawi: 3 pm
Arrival at Hotel & Check-In: 3.30 pm

Return Flight Tickets (includes airport charges and fees): MYR 463 (23rd-26th)
Return Flight Tickets (includes airport charges and fees): MYR 662 (24th-27th)

Upon both the options, I am unsure which to choose yet. Depending on the day when to purchase it, if the flight is cheaper, I supposed, we should travel by flight then, rather travelling with a very long hours and got so tired of driving.
