12 Years & Still Going

I was going through an album of my bff birthday celebration with her bf & future sister-in-law. Yes, future sister-in-law, as I expected my bff to get married to her bf. Anyway, I realize that she was actually happy being with her bf just as what I am experiencing with my own bf.

I remembered that she once said, we have some sort of connection in our relationship experience. We had like same experiences coming back-to-back. When she got hers, then, I got mine. When I got mine, she had hers too. She got into a relationship, which later I have a bf of my own too. Then I had a breakup, not so long after, she had hers. And whatever that we experiencing within the relationship cycle, it is almost similar.

And I can still remember, some people thought that we are sisters because they say we almost look alike. But that was 6 years ago, and I don’t know if people still thinks the same way.

We even get ourselves into a huge unacceptable fight 5 years back because of relationship which I am not going to talk about it, and just let the bad memories goes by. However, whatever that has happened between us no matter how bad it is, it could never break our friendship and we always be best friends.

And now, she happily had a wonderful long-lasting relationship with her bf. I had the same thing with mine. And could not imagine of having this relationship to break. So I’ve seen the same in her relationship.

It’s weird and is unbelievable, but its true and it happened. We know so, because we’ve been through it.

He Caught My Heart

Last night I watched Sex and The City on HBO. And yeah, it is a nice movie. Btw, as I’m watching it, I was also on the phone - SMSing my bf. When the movie came to an end, I text my bf to end the conversation so both of us could go to bed. Then, when Mr. Big purposed to Carrie Bradshaw, and said, “Carrie Bradshaq, the love of my life…” and yada yada yada I can’t recall the rest of the words, but yeah, that’s what I caught he said…a few seconds later, a text reached my mobile, reads “Nurul Asyikin, love of my life. I love u so much”. And of course the text came from my bf. The text make me realized that my bf was also watching the same movie while I was watching them, then, the simple text gave the sweet romantic feeling for that moment to my heart. My bf is full of surprises in his own way and he don’t even realize it. But, he caught my heart. And I love him for that.

It was my 1 year & 3 months anniversary with my beloved one. The day was on the 16th of October, but yet, we couldn’t meet up and celebrate. And so, on Tuesday, we finally did. We thought of watching a movie at 4pm, but then, it was like a bit tight up as he finished of late than supposed to. So, we had a late lunch in KLCC, having Teppanyaki, then we decided to watch movie at 6pm. Later on, instead of heading back home immediately, I thought of dropping by at McDonald and having our dinner 1st…and also was to get ourselves the McDonald’s Coke Contour Glass…basically just as a treat & simple gift for our anniversary. =)

Since the 1st start, what I know is that my bf is so jealous of knowing me with any other guy. Until he caught my mind making me thinking…if even I were with his own brother, he would be jealous too. And it is ridiculous.

I mean, when he got to know that I’m with some guy, he would be like so jealous even if it was his own friend…our friend actually, who is my best friend…our close friend to be exact. Until he put in his thought that I will be going for that guy. WTH? Who is he kidding? The guy is like no stranger to him and he actually put his mind to actually thinks that way? What was he thinking? If it’s a stranger to him, it would be understandable. But its not. Even if when the guy is my long time so very close best friend, who is more like a brother to me, he thinks the same way too.

So I was like…duhh..come on, its not like I have a crush on them or something, and they are like totally not into me, so why on earth he would think like that? I don’t get it. He should like stop being that jealous you know. It was so absurd.

And this morning, when I was remembering the message he sent me 4 days ago like for so many times, which is because…I don’t know why actually…I kinda like that message and it just caught my mind so greatly which made me thought of it over and over again regardless of what I do.

I mean, yeah, I know, being jealous is because of love, but he’s like being so blindly jealous. And it is not healthy at all.


But then…it finally hit me. He wasn’t being jealous because he don’t like it. He’s just being insecure because he was afraid. That’s what its all about. And since now I have finally figured it out, its all make sense to me. But still, he has got to stop being so blindly jealous like that.
